2014 Entrepreneur of the Year: Mikey Sorboro

Mikeys200Mikey’s Late Night Slice Owner Mikey Sorboro tops the list as 2014 entrepreneur of the year. The by-the-slice pizza has become a late-night staple, growing from its original Short North location at 1030 N. High St. to Clintonville, Grandview, Park Street and Columbus Commons locations, along with a number of other specialty spots and two mobile trucks.

This year Sorboro hasn’t only been in the news for his pizza empire, but for the recent opening of Oddfellow’s Liquor Bar, right next door to the original LNS. What Sorboro describes as a long-time coming, the dive bar destination has an electric look featuring several antique pieces that honor the history of the building. Not only is LNS available around the corner, but the bar also recently partnered with another Columbus-foodie destination, Katalina’s to offer a pop-up restaurant with brunch and “munch” options.
