OnTime App Helps Users Stay on Schedule

The developers behind a new Apple-approved mobile calendar application claim its users will never be late again.

The app, OnTime, runs in the background of users’ smartphones. By determining their location, OnTime  issues reminders that help users get where they’re supposed to be when they’re supposed to be there.

“As a busy person who has traveled and maintained multiple schedules, I thought there had to be a better way to manage tasks and stay on time for meetings and appointments,” says Kevin Miller, president and co-founder of Ripple Mobile LLC, the Dublin-based technology firm that created OnTime.

Not only does OnTime provide reminders, it also maps users’ routes and notifies them of traffic delays thanks to location-based capabilities.

Further, OnTime syncs with all existing computer-based calendars, features adjustable turn-by-turn directions and social media connectivity, and even alerts a user’s next appointment in the event that they’re running late.

Miller says the app is secure and has minimal impact on battery life.

OnTime was launched Dec. 21. and is already among the top 25 paid productivity apps for iPhone. It can be purchased for $1.99 through April 1 and for $4.99 thereafter.

Blackberry and Droid versions will be available by month’s end.

Plus, “OnTime has multiple enhancements coming out in the next couple of weeks as we are always working to improve users’ experiences and improve their busy lives,” Miller says.
