The Columbus Chamber is hosting its annual Small Business Forum & Leader Awards ceremony on Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The half-day event will kick off with a presentation from keynote speaker Donna James, managing director of Lardon & Associates LLC and a corporate director for several public companies, including three Fortune 500 companies.
Participants can choose to attend three of 24 educational sessions, with topics including “General Financing Options for Small & Emerging Businesses” and “The Human Age– Attracting and Retaining Talent for Small Business.”
Following the sessions, attendees will have the opportunity to watch a presentation and participate in a forum focusing on “2012 and beyond.”
During the luncheon, the Chamber will announce its Small Business Leader Awards recipients, recognizing small business leaders in five categories: Adapt & Innovate, Diversity Leadership, EcoBusiness, Emerging Excellence, and Young Professional Leadership.
The cost for attending the forum and luncheon is $85 and $100 for members and non-members, respectively (or $680 and $800 for groups of eight).
The cost for the forum only is $60 and $75 for members and non-members, respectively (or $480 and $600 for groups of eight).
The cost for the luncheon only is $50 and $65 for members and non-members, respectively (or $400 and $520 for groups of eight).
