    The Center for Social Enterprise Development Presents Positioned to Prosper on August 2

    On Tuesday, August 2, The Center for Social Enterprise Development presents its second annual Positioned to Prosper at the Columbus Museum of Art: Schottenstein Property Group Pavilion, 480 E. Broad St.

    The event celebrates Central Ohio’s advancements in the social enterprise arena and also marks the release of The State of the Social Enterprise, CSED’s annual report that analyzes social enterprise activity and opportunity in the area. Started in 2014, CSED operates with the mission to provide information, training, mentoring and support to help charitable organizations develop business activities that produce new sources of revenue to advance their charitable missions.CSED300

    During Positioned to Prosper, CSED President & CEO Allen Proctor will share key findings of the report. Attendees will also hear first-hand accounts from local businesses building their social enterprises, along with funding partners’ perspectives on significant developments.

    Networking begins at 5:00 p.m. with programming beginning at 6:00 p.m. Light refreshments will also be provided. Registration is free but required as seating is limited.
