The 10xelerator program is now accepting applications from startups and entrepreneurs looking to enroll in the Fall 2013 class. Applications are due by July 14th, and up to 10 teams will be announced as a part of the program in early August.
The 10x program was launched in 2011 to help local entrepreneurs turn their ideas into viable businesses. Applications that are selected to participate in the program will receive $20,000 in seed capital funding in addition to mentorship, workshops, office space and other advisory opportunities.
“Perhaps the greatest value teams will receive from the 10x program is the mentor network comprised of successful entrepreneurs, CEOs, VCs, and business veterans from the startup world,” says Brooke Paul, Founder of Founders Factory and a director of the 10x program. “10x alums have effectively leveraged our mentor network for follow-on funding, access to customers and more.”
The Fall 2013 10x class will begin on September 4th and will run for 10 weeks. Twenty-seven startups have participated in previous 10x classes since 2011 and have collectively raised over $9.4 million in additional funding from angel investors and venture capital firms located throughout the US. Some of the previous 10x participants include incrwd, Acceptd, Acclaimd and Resition.
