3 Tree is a sustainability-centered collective focused on empowering individuals to take action in the necessary battle against climate change. 3 Tree’s mission is to give participants the tools they need to form lasting habits through a supportive community that brings them together to create greater impact.
Bust A Move
Bust A Move is an athletics equipment company dedicated to keeping all girls active, regardless of body type. Using mechanical engineering principles, the business has designed a supportive, patent-pending sports bra to meet the specific needs of busty athletes. Bust A Move believes sports bras are sports equipment and that, with the right equipment, girls can tackle any challenge and face any competitor with comfort and confidence.Â
CITA Social Enterprises
CITA Social Enterprises was created to provide employment opportunities to individuals who are in active recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. The venture will provide automobile detailing and cleaning services to fleet (B2B) and individual (B2C) customers.
Femergy® EmpowHER CommunityÂ
Femergy is a non-profit that equips girls and women with the tools to navigate and soar through gender, economic, and social barriers so that they can grow up healthy, educated, and independent. The non-profit’s programs help girls and women explore and celebrate their strengths, their voices, who they are today, and who they will become in the future.Â

Femilies empowers parents to raise changemakers, helps families and kids connect their values to action through activism, and builds communities of justice-minded parents and families to drive social change. The organization does this through signature offerings that help parents and families clarify their values, goals, priorities and action steps.

Finally A Hero is a film production company that highlights survivors of domestic violence with the mission to advocate for support and awareness, as well as facilitate recovery.
ForestPesa
ForestPesa is democratizing fractional investments in sustainable forest assets that cumulatively yield 1-3% per annum. The venture aims to encourage carbon sequestration in forests around the world by encouraging direct investment in communities and foresters left out of global financial systems. ForestPesa focuses on connecting small-scale landowners and foresters with resources to plant trees, sequestering carbon while improving ecosystem services and generating income at a community level. By tokenizing real forest assets, ForestPesa create a carbon currency that can be bought and sold, and will appreciate in value over time to provide a return on investment.
Green Scope ConsultingÂ
Green Scope Consulting is a sustainability-focused consulting and consultation program for small, food-related businesses in the Columbus area. In an economy with businesses struggling to make ends meet, the last place valuable funding should be sent is the landfill. Food waste is a prevalent issue in the Columbus area and wasted food directly translates to wasted money, wasted time, and wasted resources. Green Scope will be building solutions that fit the problem for each specific business, but overall targeting methods such as using predictive analytics to reduce unnecessary waste, leveraging community resources to rescue waste, and following sustainable practices to divert necessary waste from the landfill.

Positive Transitioning Inc. is a virtual organization providing resources and support to individuals returning to the community after incarceration.Â
Let Teachers TeachÂ
Let Teachers Teach (LTT) is developing a holistic, data-driven software suite for special education professionals. LTT aims to make it less stressful and time-consuming to write Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), multipage legally-binding documents detailing interventions for students with learning differences. The LTT suite will use machine learning algorithms trained on large sets of IEP data to automate repetitive IEP sections, suggest IEP goals/interventions, and provide relevant resources for teachers.

Together We Compost is a multifaceted compost collection and creation organization. The company seeks to educate, motivate, and engage the BIPOC community and all others in a just and sustainable practice that provides a gateway to a just transition through the climate crisis, engages people in necessary community building, and ensures there is justice through collaboration with the planet earth.Â

The Queer Umbrella cultivates physical and digital spaces for queer connection and empowerment. The Queer Umbrella’s events will be both virtual and local pop-up events with the organization’s partners. The QU’s mission is to make community accessible cultivating physical and digital spaces for queer connection and empowerment.Â

Tiny Tunemakers believes the most impactful growth and rewarding experiences can be achieved through community. Their early childhood music and movement classes are taught in a group setting while focusing on social and emotional learning. Children are engaged in fun-filled, playful classes where they sing, move, play instruments, improvise, have story time, explore vocal production and dance. Tiny Tunemakers works with both public and private daycare and learning centers.

Virtual Village is a private virtual learning support services business that will be located in Baltimore, MD. The company provides services to students from grades 3 to 8 and beyond. Virtual Village will engage in providing site-based virtual learning support to students. The company is a student-focused and results-driven private network that provides broad-based socio-emotional, academic support approaches and experience to children and families.Â

Weigh The Facts’ Voter Service programs deliver civic empowerment by increasing the political acumen of its participants. Transforming voters from unlikely to empowered, leaders from overwhelmed to enthusiastic, candidates from uncertain to emboldened and electeds from battle-worn to reenergized. While nonpartisan, Weigh the Facts is unapologetically political.
With a virtual format for 2021, the accelerator is welcoming social enterprises from across the country that are tackling timely and important societal issues through their business models.
For the next several weeks, these organizations will develop sustainable business models and solidify their social impact with the help of professional guidance and coaching from local mentors, facilitators and subject matter experts.
The SEA Change Accelerator will culminate with a pitch event where top participants will share their business models for a chance to receive funding and support services to help build their businesses.
