Social enterprises are impacting some of society’s biggest challenges through innovative businesses models. Whether it’s donating a portion of sales, building a one-for-one model or employing populations with challenges in their past, an increasing number of for-profit businesses are engraining ways to do good into their missions.
For the fourth year in a row, The Metropreneur is honoring and building awareness around Central Ohio’s socially-focused businesses and again teaming up with Rotary District 6690 – Central and Southeast Ohio for the 2016 Social Entrepreneurship Award. Nominations are now open for the award. You can nominate your own company, or nominate another that is doing great work in Central Ohio with a social cause.
