Haleema Shafeek

Haleema Shafeek started GOFS Commercial Interiors in 2008 after a robust career as a commercial interior designer and project manager. GOFS has a primary focus on applying corporate and community values that shape an organization, with its sustainability goals. This combination is then used to design spaces that attract and retain their most valuable assets, including the talented industry people that they wish hire and their ideal clients who desire their goods or services. GOFS is based in Columbus Ohio and serves private and public companies and agencies both locally and across the country. The company has two supporting divisions, GOFS Supply, an industrial, maintenance and facility supply distribution entity, and GOFS Technology, which incorporates the latest technology solutions for real and virtual design of spaces. Haleema is a U.S. Army Veteran and mother of two. She currently serves as a small business mentor and is the team lead for the Ohio Goldman Sachs 10KSB Voices, advocating for small businesses. Haleema also recently served as a mentor for the first cohort for the Goldman Sachs Black in Business program.
