Hai Poké is brining a taste of the Islands right to center-of-the-state Columbus. Friends and Business Partners Mico Cordero and Nile Woodso have been slinging the Hawaiian street food staple consisting of sticky rice, cubed raw tuna and a variety of veggie toppers as a pop-up at Oddfellow’s Liquor Bar since August.
You can expect more from the eatery in 2016. Hai Poké ran a successful IndieGoGo campaign to go from pop-up to brick-and-mortar, netting just over $10,000 for the venture. A full-blown restaurant means poké all the time, and more dishes from the duo that have garnered quite the following in a short amount of time and a spot as your best new startup of 2015.
