A sign of the seemingly ever-expanding craft-brew market in Columbus, Actual Brewing Company has landed at the top of the list for best startup business of 2013.
“The Actual Brewing Company being declared Best Startup Business of 2013 does not surprise me,” says Mary Martineau, Executive Director of the Ohio Craft Brewers Association.
“Fred and Mira Lee put a lot of serious consideration into all facets of their business, from the creative science of brewing beer, Fred’s forte, to the artistic expression of their branding, Mira’s muse,” Martineau continues.
The east-side brewery has their sights set on expanding to a downtown brewpub, but are also tapping into another popular Columbus market – coffee. Actual Roastery will work in-tandem with Actual Brewing to quench Columbus’ thirst.
Currently, beer enthusiasts can drink Actual beer on-location at their Tasting Room every Friday from 5:00 to 10:00 pm.
