Goldman Sachs is partnering with Columbus State Community College to provide an educational opportunity for local business owners through its 10,000 Small Businesses program.
Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses is a free, 14-week training program that helps participants learn how to grow their business while also receiving one-on-one advising and mentorship from like-minded business owners. Babson College designed the curriculum, which includes topics like negotiation, marketing and employee management.
Businesses that are a fit for the program have been in operation for at least a year, have two to three employees and at least $150,000 in revenue with room to grow.
Columbus State will launch its second 10,000 Small Businesses cohort on September 10. Applications for the educational program are open through June 5 and can be found here.
Business owners looking to learn more about the program can hear from participants of the first cohort during two informational sessions. Sessions will be held:
Monday, June 1, 2020
Wednesday, June 3, 2020
