The Columbus Chamber is now accepting nominations for the 2015 Small Business Leader Awards. The award recognizes the best of the best leading local small businesses with fewer than 500 employees.
Small businesses that have substantiated success, increased sales, number of employees and contributions to the community will be honored through the award. Interested parties can nominate the leader of their business, clients, vendors or friends. Leaders include owners, founders, presidents and CEOs. The deadline for submissions is Thursday, Sept. 25 at 3:00 p.m. Nominees will then be notified and asked to fill out an application. Nomination forms can be found here.
A committee including members of the Chamber’s Small Business Council will choose the finalists to be recognized at the Chamber’s annual meeting on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015. The winner will be announced in front of the 1,000 plus Chamber members expected to be in attendance. The event will be held at the Columbus Convention Center Battelle Grand Ballroom from 7:00 to 9:15 a.m.
The Small Business Leader Award winner will join a who’s who of leaders that include 2014 winners Neil Mortine of Fahlgren Mortine who received the Small Business Award of Excellence and Caroline Z. Worley of Worley Law, LLC, receiving the Small Business Leader Award.
