Community and business leaders will come together at the Columbus Chamber’s Annual Meeting on Thursday, February 6. With a theme of Level Up, 2020 programming will focus on concepts of disruption, collaboration and experience – three pivotal pieces to sustaining and evolving business models.
Networking and registration runs from 8 – 9 a.m. Programming kicks off at 9 a.m. and will feature three keynote speakers and presentation of the Small Business Leader and the Columbus Awards.
This year’s keynote presenters include:
- Janelle Coleman – Executive Vice President, External Affairs, Columbus Zoo & Aquarium
- Dee Haslam – CEO, Haslam Sports Group
- Brett Kaufman – Founder & CEO, Kaufman Development
“Our audience members will hear from this year’s keynotes in three separate TED Talk-style presentations as they share stories of growth through disruption, collaboration and experience,” says Courtney West, marketing manager for the Columbus Chamber. “Each presenter will share actionable takeaways as it relates to leveling up in the new year and decade – whether that be related to marketing, sales, workforce, leadership, etc.”
Honoring leaders whose businesses exemplify success through increased sales, number of employees and contributions to the community, the finalists for the 2020 Small Business Leader Awards are:
- Rachel Friedman, TENFOLD
- Brad Griffith Buckeye Interactive
- Lynsey Jordan Permit Solutions, Inc.
One winner will be announced and will join the honoree of the Columbus Award, Lisa Bachmann, Executive Vice President of Chief Merchandising and Operating Officer at Big Lots, in being recognized at the event.
The Columbus Chamber Annual meeting will be held at the Greater Columbus Convention Center Battelle Grand Ballroom, 400 N. High St.
Registration is required and closes on Wednesday, January 29. Individual tickets are $135 for Chamber members and $185 for non-members. Tables of eight can be purchased for $1,000 for Chamber members and $1,400 for non-members.
