It’s a slower month for crowdfunding in Columbus. Massage shirts and beer make the list, and starting this month we’ll link you to the latest in Kiva loans.

    Project Genesis-Innovative Massage Shirt

JaiWear presents its massage shirt to the crowdfunding community. The shirt takes the healing benefits of TENS (Transcutaneous Electric Nerve Stimulation) units and combines it with compression wear. JaiWear touts that its on-the-go alternative to therapies that normally require being hooked up to an immobile unit or a little assistance placing electrotherapy pads can literally be worn anywhere. Production is ready to run once backers pledge their initial support.

    Grove City Brewing Company

Grove City Brewing Company has gutted a historic building in the Town Center to bring the city its first craft brewery. Things are almost wrapped up, having made it through the many surprises and unknowns that come with renovating a historic building, but the brewery is raising funds to put on a new roof to preserve a historic interior celling.

If you prefer your crowdfunding of the loan variety, as little as $25 can support a zero-interest microloan for an entrepreneur through Kiva.
