    Fourth Annual Columbus Startup Week Returns May 7-11

    Columbus Startup Week, the free, five-day celebration of the local entrepreneurial community, kicks off next Monday, May 7 and runs through Friday, May 11.

    Over 80 events spread across five days tackle entrepreneurship from nearly every angle, looking at funding, diversity, marketing, social impact and more. Panel discussions, fireside chats, keynote presentations and other events are once again organized into programming tracks. The tracks help attendees identify areas of focus and zero in on the best days to attend. This year’s tracks include:

    • Entrepreneurship 101
    • Funding 101
    • Fashion & Creatives
    • Food & Beverage
    • Marking, PR & Branding
    • Smart City
    • Social Enterprise
    • Sports, Entertainment & Media
    • Technology & Product

    Diversity and women in entrepreneurship will also be highlighted within this year’s programming tracks. Diversity-focused events include a panel discussion featuring Columbus’ Diversity Chambers of Commerce, Improving Equity in a Smart City and more. All-women panels will lead discussions such as Scaling Up: How To Go From One Location to Many and Women in Charge: Product Management Panel.

    Columbus Startup Week 2018 kicks off on Monday, May 7 at 9:00 a.m. with a keynote address from Drive Capital Co-Founder and Partner Mark Kvamme staking his claim that Columbus is the most “innovative city in America.” The week will also feature various networking opportunities, a job fair and a $50,000 pitch competition from Dispatch Media.

    A majority of the week’s events will take place at Chase Basecamp at Vue Columbus, 95 Liberty St. in the Brewery District. Chase’s support allows the event to be free and open to the public.
