    INCREASE CDC Accepting Nominations for Micro Entrepreneur Awards

    INCREASE Community Development Corporation is accepting nominations for their 10th annual Micro Entrepreneur Awards through Thursday, March 6th.

    To qualify as a micro entrepreneur, the business must have five or fewer employees including the owner. Nominees must demonstrate community involvement and be in an ownership position for at least two years. Entrepreneurs can nominate themselves or another business owner by visiting increasecdc.org/submit-nomination.

    Entrepreneurs can be nominated in seven different industry categories, including:

    • – Retail
    • – Business-to-business
    • – Health & wellness
    • – Media & entertainment
    • – FIRE (finance, insurance and real estate)
    • – Non-profit
    • – Consumer services

    A panel of community judges will choose a winner from each category to be honored at an awards ceremony on Thursday, May 22nd. The event will be held at the Columbus Christian Center Church at 2300 N. Cassady Ave. with a networking reception form 5:00 pm to 6:15 pm followed by the awards ceremony at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door. Attendees can purchase tickets online beginning April 10th.
