The conference, which links small businesses with government agencies and prime contractors for potential contracting opportunities, is scheduled for 1 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday at the Wright State University Nutter Center, located at 3640 Colonel Glenn Highway.

In addition to one-on-one matchmaking meetings, the conference features seminars for small businesses on various topics, such as working with government agencies, reading solicitations, marketing to prime contractors, and working with joint ventures.

The event also benefits government agencies, as it helps them meet their mandated contracting and subcontracting goals by identifying potential sources of supply.

Last year, more than 1,800 participants, including more than 1,400 small businesses, had one-on-one meetings with more than 250 buyers. To date, 99 buyer organizations are registered for this year’s conference.

The deadline to register for the conference is March 8. The registration fee is $50 and a box lunch is provided for each attendee.

Sponsors for the event include the Ohio Department of Development’s Entrepreneurship and Small Business Division, the department’s Minority Business Enterprise Division, and the Small Business Administration Columbus District Office.
