ECDI, That Food Truck featured on “Nightline”

In 2010, the Economic and Community Development Institute launched the Food Fort− a mobile food cart commissary, commercial kitchen and bakery, and food business incubator.

The primary goals of the Food Fort are to help new businesses get off the ground and to provide access to new markets for startup and existing businesses.

That Food Truck −a Food Fort member and an ECDI loan client, as well as a consulting client− gained national attention when ABC’s “Nightline” featured the business and ECDI last week.

ECDI was honored to be included in the program’s feature about the exciting mobile food scene here in Columbus, and excited to share the spotlight with That Food Truck. With the help of our comprehensive suite of services, such as training, capitalization and technical assistance, That Food Truck has achieved considerable success.

“Nightline’s” Reena Ninan followed That Food Truck Owners Steve Concilla and Dan Kraus over the course of three months to document the evolution of their business. Watch the segment below.
