Using Non-Compete and Non-Disclosure Agreements to Protect Your Business
Now’s the time to consider protecting your business by using a “restrictive covenant agreement” – an agreement that restricts or prevents one of the parties from doing something specific.
Whether you are hiring new employees, bringing on partners, terminating an employee or are thinking about selling your business, you should consider including restrictive covenants in your business agreements.

Join Wells Law on March 19 to learn about how to effectively use non-disclosure agreements, non-solicitation agreements, and non-compete agreements to protect your business. This lunch and learn will include details and practical tips about why and when you may need to implement these tools and how to effectively use each type of agreement.

You will learn about:
Non-disclosure agreements (“NDA”) which protect trade secrets, i.e. information known only to your business, such as technical information, your customer lists, processes, procedures, methods, techniques, any business information or plans, financial information, marketing or sales information.

Non-solicitation agreements, which stop prior employees from going after your current customers or prospective customers and they prevent employees from taking other employees with them if/when they leave.

Non-competition agreements, which prohibit a previous employee in performing work for competing businesses for a specific period of time in a specified geographical area.
