Titanic Syndrome Killed Many Companies. Are You Next?

February 21, 2020 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

Titanic Syndrome — a corporate disease in which organizations facing disruption create their own downfall through arrogance, excessive attachment to the past success, or an inability to recognize the new and emerging reality — has killed many companies.

How many companies are dying, exactly? Well, consider this: in 1955, the original Fortune 500 list featured the 500 (duh!) best companies in the world. Today, only 60 of them are still in business. That’s a sinking rate of 88%.

Is your company next? And what is the cure?

Called ‘The Reinvention Guru’ (in Venture Magazine) and ‘The Queen of Reinvention’ (TEDx Navasink), Dr. Nadya Zhexembayeva is a business owner, educator, speaker and author — specializing in reinvention. She teaches consultants, ambitious corporate achievers, and business owners the profitable action steps necessary to turn change, crisis, and disruption into a competitive advantage.

Dr. Zhexembayeva has been driving change and reinvention for over 25 years. She’s had the honor of working with some of the most remarkable organizations in the world, including Coca-Cola, Erste Bank, IBM, Kohler, and L’Oreal Group.
