TogetherDigital Annual Meeting
April 23, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 6:00 pm$40 – $125
TogetherDigital, formerly Women in Digital, is hosting an all-day meeting on Tuesday, April 23 at BrewDog in Canal Winchester, Ohio. Created in 2016 by founder, Alaina Shearer, TogetherDigital is an organization dedicated to accelerating advancement and growth of women in digital fields by expanding their networks and giving them power.
“If we help each other, we distribute power,” said Shearer. “We give each other more power through our foundation: ask, give, grow. It’s hard for us to ask for help, but that’s what ultimately helps us grow.”
TogetherDigital’s April 23 event at BrewDog is part team retreat and part mini-conference. The event is jam-packed with incredible speakers on topics digital teams need to know in 2019. It is $40 for members and $125 for non-members, and tickets include lunch.
Panel topics range from a conversation about brand tribe and community from Abercrombie & Fitch, National Digital Inclusion Alliance and COTA to proving digital marketing ROI from Green Growth Brands. The event will also include two keynote interviews. The first will be between Clara Kridler, Vice President of People at Root Insurance and Sue Zazon, Central Ohio President of Huntington Bank. The second interview will be between Alaina Shearer, Founder of TogetherDigital, and Tanisha Robinson, Chief Disruption Officer of BrewDog USA. The meeting’s keynote conversation is between Lauren Hunter and Manda Mason, Founders of The W Nail Bar, and Margaret Standing, Director of Corporate Communications at Designer Brands, the parent company of DSW.
The day will be broken up by two ask and give circles, dedicated to digital strategy and data and analytics. This is a fantastic opportunity for non-members to experience the power exchanges that make the TogetherDigital strong.
“This is the first day-long TogetherDigital meeting we’ve held in any of our chapters,” said Katie Elsass, TogetherDigital Events Chair. “We hope to expand these mini conferences to the other cities in the future. With such a dynamic lineup of speakers, we think the Columbus annual meeting will set a great precedent for those cities.”
