Business development entrepreneur Mo Wright has announced that his company, Milan Development, a subsidiary of The RAMA Cos., would be acquiring the Linden Café, located at 1393 Cleveland Ave. His company originally purchased the building housing the restaurant in 2009.
“This is a strategic investment to strengthen and enhance the Linden Café brand through a merger of the culinary skills of head chef Michael Mayfield and RAMA’s expertise in business development and operational efficiency models,” says Wright.
The Linden Café is known for its soul food cuisine and breakfast menu. The new ownership team plans to renovate the restaurant.
“The Linden Café investment will provide an opportunity to improve the dining experience and atmosphere, update technology to provide better service customers, expand access to room rental and catering services,” he says. “We also want our café to remain a job creator and local employer in the community.”
The Linden Café will be closes for renovations from late July through early August.
