Local Businesses Encouraged to Recycle e-Waste This Saturday

This Saturday, June 22, RecycleForce Columbus is co-hosting two collection events for e-waste, one at Goodwill Columbus in Upper Arlington, and the other at the Economic & Community Development Institute (ECDI). RecycleForce is a not for profit social enterprise that assists with workforce training efforts for formerly incarcerated men and women, helping to re-integrate them into society as responsible and productive community members.

“We are so excited that RecycleForce Columbus is working in Franklin County to provide opportunities for re-entry workers to get valuable on-the-job experience,” said Franklin County Commissioner Marilyn Brown. “We encourage you to support this organization by dropping off your end-of-life electronics and anything with a cord attached.”

The event at the Upper Arlington Goodwill Center will take place at 3172 Kingsdale Center from 9am to 2pm. The event at ECDI is a part of Women’s Day and collections will run from 10am to 2pm at 1655 Old Leonard Avenue.
