15 Social Enterprises Selected for SEA Change Accelerator 

SEA Change will accelerate its second group of social enterprises in Columbus starting this summer. Fifteen businesses were selected for the 13-week program which offers hands-on advice, mentoring and training from industry experts. During the program, participants will develop and refine their business plans that aim to create measurable social change.

The program will culminate in a pitch event where up to $100,000 in seed funding, as well as other rewards, will be granted to the most promising teams. Social enterprises awarded funds during the inaugural accelerator include Besa, which netted $50,000, Aunt Flow and Billion, each awarded $10,000, and Yocum Law which took home $5,000. These and other participants of the program, like Commons Studios, are actively impacting the community with their social enterprises.
