This Saturday, Sept. 18, The Metropreneur is hosting a moderated panel discussion that will focus on the ups and downs of starting a small business. “Columbus Entrepreneurialism: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly” will feature three local entrepreneurs who will share not only their own challenges as small business owners, but also some of the hurdles they’ve helped their clients overcome.

The event is being held in conjunction with the Independents’ Day Festival, which will showcase local vendors, local food, local art, and local music. The festival will be held outside on Gay Street and begin immediately after the discussion concludes.
The panel discussion will be moderated by Melanie McIntyre, Editorial Director of The Metropreneur, and feature:
- • Jason Moore, Principal of Fulcrum Creatives
- • Matt Crumpton, Managing Partner of Crumpton Law LLC
- • Sarah Irvin Clark, President of Irvin Public Relations
The event starts promptly at 11 a.m. and will run for one hour. Admission to the event is free and no RSVP is required.
