Social Entrepreneurship is the identification of a social problem and the use of entrepreneurial principles and practices to create a social venture aimed at solving the problem. Social entrepreneurs are important to the community and to the world, as they work to achieve social change through non-traditional and forward-thinking methods.
The Rotary Clubs of Central and Southeast Ohio are comprised of community leaders who believe in “Service About Self.” A large number of them are small business owners. That’s why Rotary is proud to recognize the social entrepreneurs that make our communities and the world a better place to live for everyone.
We’re seeking your nominations for our 2015 Social Entrepreneurship Award. You can nominate your own company, or nominate another that is doing great work in Central Ohio with a social cause.
