In 2022, the Social Enterprise of the Year Awards mark a decade of celebrating impact businesses in Central Ohio. Honoring businesses and organizations that are finding innovative ways to tackle a variety of societal issues, these social enterprises don’t evaluate success simply by revenue, but by impact made.
We want to hear about the businesses and organizations you see doing good in the community! Submit your nominations for the 10th annual Social Enterprise of the Year Awards presented by The Metropreneur and SocialVentures.
Social enterprises of all stages and sizes operating in and around the Columbus region are eligible to be nominated. The awards highlight both new and existing social enterprises, and the many ways in which these businesses can make an impact. From one-for-one models, to fair-chance employment, or building sustainability for non-profits through for-profit ventures, you can nominate the businesses you think deserve this special recognition.
Social enterprises are welcome to self-nominate, and all community members are encouraged to nominate those innovative businesses they see doing great work in Central Ohio. Nominations close on Sunday, July 31 at 11:59 p.m.
Nominations will be reviewed by a panel of representatives from The Metropreneur and SocialVentures to determine eligibility and select award finalists. Those finalists will be invited to fill out an application detailing their business model and social impact. Applications will be reviewed by a group of social enterprise and community leaders will select the winners.
The Social Enterprise of the Year Awards will be presented by The Metropreneur and SocialVentures at The Metropreneur’s annual Aspire event. Save the date! Aspire 2022 will be held Thursday, October 20 at COhatch Polaris. Follow The Metropreneur for more event details to be announced in the coming months.
