“Dan’s comprehensive understanding of business development, finance, economics, municipal engineering and land development give him just the right tools to be a great fit for the position,” says Delaware City Manager Tom Homan. “The city of Delaware’s economic development coordinator position is critical to Delaware’s continued growth and success.”

The city’s economic development coordinator works closely with Delaware County’s economic development efforts, as well as regional initiatives, such as Columbus 2020. To read more about programs and incentives offered to small businesses in the city of Delaware, click here.

Whited will begin the new position on Sept. 19.
